Our Vision in Action

Our core values, intention, collaboration, and responsibility reflect our belief that students are most successful when they have autonomy and responsibility over their reality.

Every action begins and ends with the student's goal. This intentional action extends to all curricula. Our students learn the academic and social-emotional skills needed to succeed economically in the 21st Century.

The leading cause of global human rights abuses is due to climate change. Our students will learn to build, think, act, speak, and fight to overcome these abuses.

Human Rights Trips

Last year, our school launched UAGC TRAVELS!

Ten students were selected for a Human Rights-focused school trip to San Juan, Puerto Rico. They learned about indigenous farming practices and how they’ve evolved to meet the issues created by increased damage from hurricanes, how the island protects and celebrates biodiversity within forests such as El Yunque, how they infuse sustainable practices into their architecture, and creative ways that chefs are using native foods in their recipes to promote their culture.
